Privacy

What AdShield Pro collects: nothing, by default

There is no account, no login and no cloud service behind this extension. Filter rules compile on your own machine and blocking decisions are made there too.

No account, ever

You never register. Nothing identifies your browser to us, and there is no profile to delete because none is created.

Blocking happens locally

Rules are compiled and enforced on your device. The pages you open, the hosts you visit and the rules you add never leave it.

Optional, anonymous counters

Public totals on this site — downloads, ads blocked, bandwidth saved — come only from people who switched reporting on themselves. Reporting is off until you turn it on, it carries counts rather than browsing history, and turning it off stops it immediately.

Support tickets

A ticket contains only what you type plus the details you attach. You get a code to track the reply, with no email address required.

What the extension can read

Browser permissions allow it to inspect and block requests on the pages you visit — that is how any ad blocker works. Nothing read that way is stored or sent anywhere.

Readable source

Every rule and every line of the extension is readable inside the package you download, under the MIT licence.
